特殊マシンの活用の仕方を見ると、イチロー選手も焦ったように思う。通常2週間はかかるところを1週間足らずで練習復帰は、自分の体を知り尽くしているからだろう。先日のゴードンのセンターからの捕殺送球もそうだが、今のメジャーの選手はイチロー選手を観て育った選手も多いだろう。今回の故障から早期の復帰も長くプレーする選手や怪我した選手には参考になるはず。マイナーでのDHでの復帰となるが、確実に復活してほしい。

イチロー選手のふくらはぎ痛は結構、やばい感じだったんだな。歩けないくらい。つったのではないのか、よくわからないけど。マシンで随分、回復したと。あのイチロー選手仕様のマシンは、つくづく彼の生命線なんだと実感する。とにかく、完全回復を祈る。

イチロー選手が試合に出て、ヒットを打つのが当たり前だと思っていた。しかし、イチロー選手が試合に出るのが当たり前ではないのだと、今回の移籍で教えられた。未だ自分にはそんな準備はできていなかった。

なぜなら、彼のスタンス、準備、トレーニングは知っていたからだ。敵なしの日本で、翌年の目標を聞かれると、毎年、レギュラーを獲ることから始めますと答えていたから。早くから50歳までは現役を続けるというゴールを想定し、驕る事なく、毎年、1から目標を追い、地味なトレーニングに徹底して肉体を進化させてきた。その進化は現在進行形だ。彼は必ずその舞台に立ち続けられるはずだと、大きな疑いは持っていなかったからだ。

今、彼は、いつものようにレギュラーを獲る目標を追っている。だから、これから先、1打席、1スイング、1捕球、1送球、1走塁の１プレーに当たり前のように生き残りをかける。イチロー選手とて例外ではない。

今、こうやって彼のプレーを観ることができる事に今まで以上の幸せを感じる。それを忘れてはいけない。

だから自分への戒めも込めて、イチロー選手を観る時間を
“IchiRoad to 50”と名付けて、改めて、野球やメジャーについて考えてみたいと思う。

ちなみに、今日は2打数無安打1四球1得点。四球で出塁した1塁から次打者セグラの右翼線三塁打で一気に生還する快走を見せた。
そう、年齢を気にするメジャーには足は重要。盗塁王を獲れば、一気に評価は変えられると思う。

今年初のオープン戦。やっぱり、イチロー選手はメジャーの芝がよく似合う。打撃は3打数無安打も2打席目のレフトフライと各打席でのファウルで感触は掴んだようにも。

I’m supporting “IchiRoad” to at least, 50 even with difficulties and imponderable. 


“Ichiro, who always said that he wanted to play until he was 50, clarified his mantra.

年齢の事を言ってくる奴らなんかに野球は理解できない。野球選手は夢を売るのが仕事の一つだ。こんなに長く、エキサイティングな夢を終わらせないでいてくれる野球選手がイチロー選手の他にいるだろうか？イチロー選手の夢や目標は、野球ファンの夢であり目標だ。イチロー選手が最低でも50歳までプレーするというなら、それはまた僕らの夢であり、目標でもある。だから、僕は緊張感を感じながら、いくらでも応援する。
