Big Trade including Maeda Is Facing An Obstacle？

A big trade deal involving three teams has been put in a brake. 
Firstly, you can refer to my trade map about the deal below. 

The main trade scheme is as follows.

The Los Angeles Dodgers acquire a 2018 American League MVP player, Mookie Betts, and a 2012 Cy Young Award winner, David Price and cash plus from the Boston Red Sox. The Minnesota Twins get a Japanese-born starter, Kenta Maeda. The Boston Red Sox acquire a young prospect RHP, Brusdar Graterol.

The Red Sox found out Graterol’s risk as a starter they expected when checking his medical record. They, therefore, have to change him from a starter to a reliever. It is thought that the Red Sox will ask for the amount of cash they are going to pay or another player. 

Graterol is 21 years old and had a minor contract with the Twins in 2014. The righty underwent Tommy John surgery and had a shoulder injury in 2019. The Sox could be concerned with his arm condition. But, he made his big league debut in 2019 in which he went 0-0 with a 4.66 ERA in his ten relief appearances.

The big trade may take them for a little more time to come into effect.

３チームを巻き込んだ大型トレードに待ったがかかった。
まず、今回のトレードについては、下記の図を参照していただきたい。

ドジャースはレッドソックスより、2018年ア・リーグMVP選手のムーキー・ベッツとサイ・ヤング賞投手のデビット・プライスと金銭を獲得し、ドジャースはツインズに先発陣の一人だった前田健太投手をツインズへ、アレックス・ベルドゥーゴ外野手をレッドソックスに放出する。ツインズは若手有望株のブラスダー・グラテロル投手をレッドソックスへ放出する。

ジ・アスレティックスのケン・ローゼンタール氏によると、レッドソックスが、グラテロル投手のメディカルチェックレコードで、懸念点を発見し、当初先発投手としての起用を考えていたが、リリーフに変更せざるを得ないようだ。これにより、レッドソックスはドジャースに対して、支払う額の変更や他のプレーヤーの代替えを申し出る可能性が出てきている。

​グラテロル投手は、２１歳で、２０１４年にツインズとマイナー契約。２０１６年にトミー・ジョン手術を受けた。２０１９ 年にメジャーデビューを果たし、リリーフで１０試合に登板し、防御率４.６６を記録しているが、肩の故障もあった。レッドソックスはこのような彼の右腕の状態を懸念していると見られる。

今回の大型トレードの完全成立にはもう少し、時間がかかりそうだ。
