The Angels took the opener with 9 runs and 15 hits including homers by Pujols, Calhoun. Shohei Ohtani, a two-way player for Angels, went 1-for-4 including a RBI single. The Mariners got 3 runs by Mitch Haniger’ opening Homer in the 1st, but stayed silent in the rest of the innings.
