Ichiro Acquires A Coaching Qualification for Students
イチロー氏、学生野球指導資格取得！

Ichiro Suzuki has successfully acquired a coaching qualification for amateur baseball players. Some resources reported today. 

In Japan, in the case that former professional baseball players teach baseball for amateur players like high school or college students, they must attend a workshop for restoration of coaching qualification of student baseball by held by Nippon Professional Baseball, Japan Baseball Promotion Association, and Japan Professional baseball players association.

Ichiro attended the workshop last December and has finally had approval by a judging Committee of Japan Students Baseball Association. 

To get the qualification, the former professional players are required that they leave their club. Although Ichiro is still a Special Assistant to the Chairman of the Mariners and instructor, he becomes possible to coach while not working for the Mariners organization during each off-season. He can act as a coach for students after February 8 if hoping. 

イチロー氏、学生野球指導資格取得！


イチロー氏が２月７日、学生野球資格回復が認められて、高校生や大学生の指導が可能となった。日本の複数のメディアが報じている。


日本の元プロ野球選手がアマチュア選手を指導する場合は、学生野球資格回復研修を受講し、資格を取る必要がある。イチロー氏は昨年に１２月にこの研修を受講し、７日に日本学生野球協会から資格回復が認められた。


本来は各元選手が球団を退団することが条件となる。イチロー氏の場合は、現在、アメリカ・メジャーリーグのマリナーズ会長付特別補佐兼インストラクターだが、業務を行わないオフの期間には高校生や大学生を指導が可能となった。イチロー氏が希望すれば、明日以降、学生のコーチをすることができる。
