 The Mariners conquered a picking duel, over the Angels, 3-0. M’s pitchers, Marco Gonzales, Alex Colome and Edwin Diaz pitched a shutout. Marco Gonzales had only two hits over 7 innings and earned his 10th win as the most victories in the Mariners bullpen. 
Also, Gonzales became Mariners’ tenth pitcher who earned 10 wins before the All-Star break. 
 Shohei Ohtani, a two-way star for the Angels, appeared as a pinch hitter in the ninth and was struck out by Edwin Diaz.
 Their win-loss record stands at 58-35, just three games back of the Astros that lost a game today.

Deffense; 

• Marco Gonzales allowed just two hit with no walks and no runs over 7 innings and earned his 10th victory. He became the first pitcher with 10 wins in their bullpen. Nice Picthing!!
• Alex Colome earned his 14th hold with a strikeout in the eighth inning.
• Edwin Diaz earned his 36th save with a strikeout.

Offense;
Inning 3 ;

• David Freitas clubbed his first home run in his Major league career. The solo homer on a fly ball to center field, gave the Mariners a 1-0 leading. Congratulations!!

Inning 4 ;

• Nelson Cruz hit a two-run single on a sharp ground ball to center field. Jean Segura and Mitch Haniger scoured by that.
