Mariners won a tremendously pitching duel by both pitchers. 
James Paxton for the Mariners kept 7 scoreless innings. Also, Geritt Cole for the Astros had  5 2/3 innings with no hits until Jean Segura hit a single. Finally Geritt Cole gave up just 4 hits and 2 ER, getting 8 strikeouts. Both relievers pitched very well as well.
