It was a bad news for M’s that they were eliminated from the American Wild Card race because the Athletics in front of them beat the Twins, 3-2, tonight. It means that they has not gone to the postseason for 17 years which were the longest postseason absence among four major professional sports. 
 Seattle will have the remaining games to anticipate next season, thinking of why to struggle in the last half of this season.
