The Mariners won the opener vs. the Angels, 4-1 with a season-high 8 consecutive games. The game behind has maintained 1/2 game with a win of the Astros at Texas. They are a season-high 24 games over .500 at 55-31. 
 Today’s starting pitcher, Wade LeBlanc earned his 4th victory with hit 4, run 1 over 7 innings. LeBlanc held Trout, Pujols, and Ohtani hitless although a 2-way star, Shohei Ohtani was back today as a DH. After LeBlanc, Colome had his 11th H, and in the Last inning, Edwin Diaz allowed no runs with his 33rd save.
 About a batting, In the 1st inning M’s got 3 runs with Kyle Seager hit a RBI single and a wild pitch. In the 2nd inning, Nelson Cruze hit his 33rd solo homer. In the 7th inning, Dee Gordon stole the 3rd base and recorded his 300th career stolen base.
