 Dylan Covey pitched nearly perfectly.
 The White Sox overwhelmed the Mariners in both pitching and batting. 
The White Sox starter, Dylan Covey threw 2 hits, 0 runs, 2 BB, and 5 SO in his career-high 8.1 innings. Leury Garcia, left fielder, made a jumping catch to take away a potential homer by Mitch Haniger in left field in the ninth inning. Also, Garcia hit a RBI single to support Covey in the fourth inning. The White Sox got their first win of the second half of the season. 
 The Mariners were roundly defeated by Chicago.  They cannot help admiring     the White Sox, though they are our opponent. They had no choice, but to bounce back quickly.
