Why I Respect Ichiro Suzuki and Support Him
Ichiro Suzuki is a major leaguer playing with Seattle Mariners and my favorite professional baseball player. He used to play in Orix Blue Wave in Japan, Seattle Mariners, New York Yankees, and Miami Marlins in MLB. He has made a lot of historical achievements in both Japan and the U.S. everyone knows.
I will explain what type of person he is. He is a person who has to work hard to succeed, although he might be a genius. He regards an accumulation of regular training as important.
For example, his routine works are;
To make careful preparation for games
To keep his own pace and routine works
To take good care of his baseball tools
To overcome fear (pressure)
As I described, he is doing more than anybody else, behind the scenes.
In conclusion, there is so much effort to support his special records. His hard work in baseball is also for fans looking forward to seeing him in stadiums. My understanding is that the shortest way to be successful is to make persistent efforts like the accumulation of regular training. And I think there is no royal road to learning. To say in a different way, continuity is the father of success.
He is a true professional player. Many other players should learn what a professional baseball player is from him.
I have still learned them from him. So, I really respect him.
Ichiro is now 44 years old and has been playing with Seattle Mariners again since this season. I really expect his best performance and support “IchiRoad to 50” meaning continuing an active player until his age of 50 at least.
