All NPB Teams Start Spring Training Today
日本プロ野球、今日、一斉にキャンプイン

All 12 NPB clubs are starting their Spring Training in the southwest of Japan, Today. The training will take place until the middle or end of February. Some teams have practical matches against Korean professional teams and Taiwanese professional teams during the training. After the training, they will play preseason matches until the middle of March. The opening day of both the Central and Pacific League will be on March 20, Friday. 

The places where their spring trainings take place are below.

The Central League;
Yomiuri Giants: Miyazaki city, Miyazaki prefecture（Kyushu region) （2/1-2/25)
Yokohama DeNA Bay Stars: Ginowan city, Okinawa prefecture (Kyushu region)(2/1-2/26)

4. Fresh All-Star game ( Farm’s All-Star game)

※ The league is a fall baseball league by NPB consisting of Japanese farm teams, Korean professional teams, and a team representing the Shikoku Island League, which is one of the Japanese independent leagues.

Final stage: 10/28 Wednesday - 1st team vs. a winner of the 1st stage

日本プロ野球、今日、一斉にキャンプイン


NPBの12球団は、毎年、2月1日から日本の南西部で一斉に春季キャンプをスタートさせる。キャンプは概ね2月の下旬ごろまで行われる。キャンプでは韓国や台湾のプロチームと練習試合をするチームもある。その後は、開幕日近くまでオープン戦が続いていく。セ・パ両リーグともに開幕日は3月20日（金）となっている。
