U18-W-CUP: 日本、メキシコを破り２連勝

U１８日本代表は、日本時間９月１１日午前８時から、フロリダで開催のベースボールワールドカップオープニングランドBグループ・メキシコ戦（レコンパーク）を戦いを４−１で勝利し前日のイタリア戦に続き２連勝とした。

　この日も初回に先制した。１回二死から３番の松尾が右前安打で出塁すると、すかさず２塁へ盗塁を敢行。相手捕手の送球がセンターへ逸れる間に３塁を陥れた。４番の内海が四球を選び、１、３塁から５番海老根の三塁への適時内野安打で松尾が生還し１点を先制。続く６番黒田の四球で満塁とし、７番伊藤が中前適時打を放ち、さらに２点を追加した。５回には先頭の浅野がメキシコ２番手左腕・ティラドから左翼スタンドへソロ本塁打を打ち４−０とした。
　日本の先発、左腕の香西は５四死球と制球に苦労する場面があったものの要所を締め４回を無失点。５回から救援した右腕の宮原が３回６奪三振１失点でまとめた。

　日本は２連勝となり、明日（日本時間９月１２日８時から）はエド・スミススタジアムでパナマと対戦する。

Japan has two straight wins

Japan had two straight wins by taking the second game against Mexico, 4-1, on September 11, JST, in the B group opening round of the 30th WBSC Baseball World Cup at LECOM Park in Florida, the United States. 

Japan had a run scored in the first. The Fifth batter Yudai Ebine drove to the third baseman in the game's first run with runners on first and third bases and two outs. The seventh batter Kaito Ito singled to the center fielder to add two runs with the bases loaded after the sixth batter Yoshinobu Kuroda, walked. 

Japanese slugger Shogo Asano shot a solo homer into the left-field stands in the fifth to give his team the fourth run.

​Japanese lefty Kazuki Kozai started the game and allowed only one hit and 0 runs in four frames, although he gave up four walks. Haruya Miyahara, who relieved Kozai, gave up one run, having six strikeouts in three innings. 

Japan will have a game vs. Panama at Ed Smith Stadium at 8 am on September 12 JST / 7 pm on September 11.
