U18-W-CUP:Baseball World Cup to Enter into Super Round

The opening round was over, and group A and B rankings were decided. The USA with the first, Korea with the second, and Netherlands with the third from group A advance to the super round. Taiwan as a first-place team, Japan as a second-place team, and Mexico as a third-place team from group B get through to the super round. 

The three teams from each group will match up against the three from another group in a round-robin. The top two teams will advance to the final, while the third and fourth will reach the third-place game. If two teams have the same records as each other, the ranking will be decided by a result of direct confrontation in the opening and super rounds.

The super round will start with a game between Netherlands and Mexico at 10 pm on September 15, JST. Japan will meet Korea at 5 am on September 16, JST.

U18ベースボールワールドカップはスーパーラウンドへ

日本はスーパーラウンド初戦で韓国と対戦

第３０回WBSC U１８ベースボールワールドカップは、オープニングラウンドが終了し、グループA及びBの順位が決定した。グループAからは１位の米国、２位の韓国、３位のオランダが、グループBからは１位の台湾、2位の日本、３位のメキシコがそれぞれスーパーラウンドへ進出する。

スーパーラウンドでは各グループの上位３チームが別のグループの上位３チームと試合を行い、上位２チームが決勝に進出し、３位と４位のチームが３位決定戦を戦う。同成績でチームが並んだ場合は、オープニングラウンド、スーパーラウンドでの直接対決の成績が考慮される。

スーパーラウンドは、日本時間１５日２２時のオランダ対メキシコの試合からスタート。日本は同１６日５時から韓国と対戦する。
