 Farmer Hanshin’s Pitcher, Dolis Heads to Blue Jays
元阪神のドリス投手がブルージェイズと契約

Farmer Hanshin’s pitcher, Rafael Dolis has agreed to an one-year deal with the Toronto Blue Jays.  The Sanspo.com reported today. 

Dolis is 32. He played for the Chicago Cubs from 2011 to 2013 and in the Minor League system from 2014 to 2015 in the US before joining the Hanshin Tigers of NPB in 2016. 

With the Cubs, the righty had 2-4 with a 5.48 in his 40 game appearances. Also, he pitched as a closer from 2016 to 2019 with the Hanshin Tigers and went 13-18 with a 2.49 ERA, 96 saves and 28 holds. His fastest velocity was 102mph (164km/h).

Shun Yamaguchi, who has joined the Blue Jays, will be his teammate.

元阪神のラファエル・ドリス投手がトロント・ブルージェイズと1年契約を結んだ。サンスポドットコムが、本日伝えている。

ドリス投手は現在、32歳。2011年から2013年までシカゴ・カブスでプレーし、その後、2015年までのマイナーリーグを経て、2016年に阪神タイガースに入団した。

カブスでは、ドリス投手は40試合を投げ、2勝4敗、防御率5.48。また阪神では昨年まで抑え投手として活躍し、13勝18敗、防御率2.49、96セーブ、28ホールドを記録した。最速164キロの速球が持ち味。

ブルージェイズと今季契約した山口俊投手とはチームメイトとなる。​
