Rosario missed about two months due to an eye problem. I felt relieved as he recovered during the season. Although he didn't have the best season in 2022, he usually bats in the high .200s and has smashed double digits homers for seven straight seasons from his debut to 2021. Rosario will come back into form in 2023 and beyond."

■Story;
Eddie Rosario was picked by the Minnesota Twins with the 135th overall selection of the fourth round of the 2010 MLB draft.

On May 6, 2015, Rosario made his major league debut against the Oakland Athletics, starting in the right field and batting eighth. On his first plate and the first pitch he saw, he hit a solo homer for the first hit and RBI of his career to left-center field to put on the board in the third off left-hander Scott Kazmir in a 13-0 Twins win. He excellently batted .267 with 13 home runs, 50 RBIs, and the American League-leading 15 triples in his first year, appearing in 122 games.

On June 13, 2017, the left-handed had a magical day. Rosario went 3-for-5 with three homers, five RBIs, and three runs in a 20-7 wipe-out over the Seattle Mariners, in which Minnesota set a new franchise record for 28 hits. In his first multi-homer game, he became the seventh Twin to smash three home runs and the fifth player to deliver three homers in a match from the No.9 hole. Appearing in his career, most 151 contests, he slashed .290/.328./507 with 27 long balls and 78 RBIs in 2017. On June 14, 2015, Lindor made his major league debut against the Detroit Tigers, appearing as a pinch hitter to replace DH David Murphy in the seventh and striking out swinging off Lefty Blaine Hardy. Lindor, however, produced a sharp single to the right for the first of his career on his second plate in the 9th, facing righty Joakim Soria. He finished his first season with .313, 12 homers, and 51 RBIs in 99 games.

In 2016, the skillful infielder had a magical season. Across 158 contests, he excellently slashed .301/.358./435 with 15 long balls and 78 RBIs, naming his first All-Star, Gold Glove, and Silver Slugger as a shortstop. In the postseason, with a batting average of .310, he helped Cleveland advance to the World Series, but the team lost to the Chicago Cubs. In 2018, Lindor recorded .277 with his career-most 38 home runs and 92 RBIs, the league-most 129 runs, receiving his second Silver Slugger Award.

"Lugo is a right-handed reliever with an excellent curveball. His sharp curveball with a high spin is effective as both a ball to get ahead of a batter and a finishing pitch with over 30% of his K% and Whiff% in 2022. The curveballs and 4-seamer of five arsenals accounted for over 60% of all his pitches in 2022, as each opponent's batting average was in the 10% range, using the combination of the two very well. His skillful pitching is worth seeing. In 2023 and beyond, Lugo will play for the Padres to aim at the World Champ."

The New York Mets selected Lugo with the 1032nd overall pick in the 34th round of the 2011 MLB draft.

Lugo was promoted to the major on June 30, 2016, and made his big league debut the following day. He pitched a scoreless eighth and ninth inning on two hits with two strikeouts in a 10-2 Mets win over the Chicago Cubs. His first career strikeout was from Anthony Rizzo. On August 25, the righty started the game versus the St.Louis Cardinals, allowing just two hits and three walks with five strikeouts in five frames to pick up his first career victory in a 10-6 win. Lugo notched 5-2 with a 2.67 ERA and 45 strikeouts across 17 games, including eight starts in his first season.

The 33-year-old right-hander threw very well for Team Puerto Rico in the 2017 World Baseball Classic before the regular season. Lugo, however, missed the first two months due to elbow inflammation. He finished his second season with 7-5, a 4.71 ERA as a starting pitcher over 18 starts and one relief.

In 2022, Lugo took the mound as the fourth of five pitchers to combine for a no-hitter in a 3-0 win over the Philadelphia Phillies in New York. After the 2022 campaign, he elected a free agent and signed with the Padres for a two-year contract on December 22. He may play a starting role for the Padres.

Javier Baez was drafted by the Chicago Cubs with the 9th overall selection in the first round of the 2011 MLB draft.

On August 5, 2014, the infielder was promoted by the Cubs to the Major League to make his big league debut in that night game. He hit his first career home run off Boone Logan to decide a 6-5 extra-inning win over the Corolad Rockies in the 12th at Coors Field in Denver. Baez was just the 12th Cub to hit a home run in his first big league since 1914. Baez finished his first season with .169, nine homers, and 20 RBIs, appearing in 52 contests as a shortstop and second baseman.

After notching .289 in 28 games in 2015 and .273 in 142 games in 2016, the right-handed hitter successfully stole home to give the Cubs a 3-0 lead in the 2nd in his team's 8-4 win over the Los Angeles Dodgers in Game 1 of the National League(NL) Championship Series on October 15, 2016. Christin Vazquez was picked by the Boston Red Sox with the 292nd overall selection in the 9th round of the 2008 MLB draft after attending the Puerto Rico Baseball Academy High School.

Making his big league debut with Boston as a starting catcher against the Chicago White Sox at Fenway Park on July 9th, 2014,  he worked with five Red Sox pitchers and was hitless in his three at-bats in a 6-5 win. Two days later, he singled to the left for the first hit of his career in the third off the Cincinnati Reds righty, Scott Feldman, and then added two more doubles, including a ground-rule double. Vazquez smashed a two-run homer for the first of his career, facing the Tampa Bay Rays right-hander Jeremy Hellickson on September 25th. He finished his first season with a batting average of .240, one home run, and 20 RBIs in 55 contests, marking a CS PCT of 52% as a catcher.

The right-handed batter, unfortunately, missed the entire season in 2015 because he underwent Tommy John surgery on an elbow injury. He returned to the team in 2016 and batted .277 with one homer and 12 RBIs in 57 games.

In 2017, the 32-year-old catcher recorded .290 with five long balls, 32 RBIs, and five stolen bases in 99 games. In 2018, he appeared in only 60 games because he broke his right pinnacle finger and shared the catcher position with Sandy Leon. He also had 8-for-37 in the postseason, experiencing Boston's fourth World Series title. 2019 was his best-hitting season. On August 1st, 2022, Christian Vazquez was traded by the Red Sox to the Houston Astros for two minor leaguers. The righty made his big debut with the Mariners in relief on June 6th, 2016, against the Cleveland Indians. He tossed a perfect seventh inning with a strikeout, recording a 101.2-mph fastball. On September 2nd, Diaz racked up his first career save by striking out the side in the ninth inning to secure Seattle's 5-4 victory over the Boston Red Sox. He finished 0-4 with a 2.79 ERA and 88 strikeouts in all 49 relief appearances with 51.2 IP in his first major league season.

In 2018, the Puerto Rican closer had a great season. He brilliantly recorded 0-4 with a 1.96 ERA with 57 saves to lead the American League(AL), rank second all-time in a single season, and a whopping 124 strikeouts, appearing in his career-most 73 contests covering 73.1 innings. He was named his first All-Star and received the Mariano Rivera Award for the best relief pitcher in the AL.

The New York Mets acquired Diaz and second baseman Robinson Cano plus cash from the Mariners in a big trade in exchange for RF Jay Bruce, RHP Anthony Swarzak, RHP Gerson Bautista, CF Jarred Kelenic, and Justin Dunn.

Springer made his major league debut for the Astros as a starting right fielder and batting second against the Kansas City Royals at Minute Maid Park on April 16th, 2014. In the game, he got his first big-league hit with an infield single to pitcher Jeremy Guthrie. The right-handed hitter delivered his first career homer on May 8th, 2014, facing the Detroit Tigers at Comerica Park. He finished his first season with .231, 20 home runs, and 51 RBIs in 78 games.

Since the following year, the 33-year-old slugger played a vital role as a regular outfielder for the Astros. In 2017, Springer marked .283 with 34 long balls and 85 RBIs to send the Astros to the postseason, receiving his first American League Silver Slugger Award. He slashed .379/.471./1.000 with five home runs and seven RBIs in seven games of the 2017 World Series to lift his team to its first World Series title and was named the Series MVP.
