Story:
Today's player's resume concerns the Chicago Cubs starter, Marcus Stroman. He can represent Puerto Rico in the 2023 World Baseball Classic.

KAISPO baseball analyst commented,
"Stroman is a short pitcher(about 5' 7'') but pretty active in MLB. He can throw a sharp ball with his bending right arm and a quick pitching form like a dart or knife.
His confident pitching handling on the mound doesn't notice his height at all.

In his eight major seasons, he has had an even record(67-67), but his ERA has been in the 3-point range, and he has good results in other categories as a starter.

I look forward to seeing "his shuriken(Japanese ninja's throwing-knife weapon) ball" in 2023."

After he played at Duke University, Marcus Stroman was drafted by the Toronto Blue Jays as the 22nd overall pick in the first round of the 2012 MLB draft. He has played for the Cubs since the 2022 season after playing with the Blue Jays and the New York Mets.

Stroman made his major league debut against the Pittsburgh Pirates on May 4th, 2014, tossing 2/3 innings in relief. He appeared in 26 games with 20 starts to record 11-6 with a 3.65 ERA in his first big league year.

In 2016, the right-hander started an opening game of the season facing the Tampa Bay Rays, allowing six hits and a walk, and striking out five over eight innings to pick up a win. On April 25th, 2017, he appeared in the game against the St.Louis Cardinals as a pinch hitter with the Blue Jays' empty bench in the 11th inning, marking the first hit of his major league career(double to the left-field corner) to led to Toronto's 6-5 win. He became the first pitcher in franchise history to record a pinch-hit. Marcus finished the 2017 season with 13-9, a 3.09 ERA across 33 starts.

At the end of the 2022 season, the 31-year-old pitcher has been 67-67 with a 3.62 ERA through 204 contests, including 198 starts in his eight big league seasons.

Also, Stroman has multi-talents like rap music and fashion to set up his clothing line. In addition, his designer logo and nickname is HDMH, meaning "Height Doesn't Measure Heart."
