5.14.2018 Is It Possible That Ohtani Does Two-way in The Same Game? https://www.facebook.com/permalink.php?story_fbid=191430288166878&id=181294025847171 Japanese big rookie of Angels, Shohei Ohtani is leading to increased interest from the MLBs concerned. He played enough role as a starting pitcher in yesterday’s game against the Twins. The Twins first baseman, Logan Morrison, highly appreciated him as he said, “with what he does on the mound and with the bat, he’s probably the best player in the world.” As you know, he is a two-way player. He has already been a leading player as both a batter and pitcher. Therefore, there are fewer chances to play in games than other regular members because he needs to take a rest and a couple of days to prepare for pitching for keeping on the two-way. Manager of the Angels, Mike Scioscia, might consider letting him do both in the same game. That case would be very limited. Two- way in the same game will increase the risk of his injury. If the Angels have a bad situation about the hitting lineup to survive in the closing stage of the season, it could be possible. Many know he is becoming a new rare big star day by day. Injuries are the only source of anxiety for me. HIDE
