前田健太投手が６奪三振の好投

The Minnesota Twins had an exhibition match against the Boston Red Sox at JetBlue Park, Florida on March 8, Sunday. 


Kenta Maeda, who transferred from the Dodgers to the Twins this off-season, played as a starting pitcher. Maeda had four scoreless
​ innings to allow just two hits and walk none with six strikeouts. His ERA is 2.08 this spring. 


Maeda said after the game, “Last outing, I [threw] a lot of pitches, so I’m glad I was able to be efficient today,” Maeda said after his start. “Everything from the delivery to the pitches, everything worked in sync. It was great overall.”(cited from MLB.com)


Twins manager, Rocco Baldelli commented “He commanded all of his pitches exceptionally well today,” Baldelli said. “His fastball command allowed everything else to play up really well. You really got to see a tremendous version of Kenta out there and it’s fun to watch.”(cited from MLB.com)

ミネソタ・ツインズは、現地時間３月８日、日曜日にフロリダ州のジェットブルー・パークでボストン・レッドソックスとオープン戦を行った。


ツインズは今オフにドジャースから移籍した前田健太投手が先発。４回を投げて、２安打四死球なしの無失点、奪三振６と快投を見せた。今オープン戦の防御率は２.０８と好調をキープした。


試合後、前田投手は、「前回は球数が多かったが、今日は効率的に投げられた。投球のすべてがバランスが良かった。全体を通してよく投げられた」と満足気に語った。


ロッコ・バルデッリ監督は、「今日は、全ての球種が非常によくコントロールされていた。速球が本当に良かった。素晴らしい健太をみて、楽しんでいる」とほめた。
