Today's player's resume concerns the San Francisco Giants starter, Logan Webb. He will join Team USA in the 2023 World Baseball Classic.

The KAISPO's baseball analyst commented,
"Webb is a starting righty for San Francisco, who won double-digit games two years in a row: 11 wins in 2021 and 15 in 2022. He showed steady pitching with a 2.90 in 2022. Webb features a three-quarter delivery, sinking his body, allowing him to bring his release point forward to throw into the lower zone and to delay the batter's reaction."

Logan Webb was drafted by the San Francisco Giants with the 118th overall pick in the 4th round of the 2014 MLB draft. He made his major league debut on August 17, 2019, versus the Arizona Diamondbacks, striking out seven over 5.0 innings while allowing two runs to pick up his first big league win. Webb went 2-3 with a 5.22 ERA over eight starts that year.

The 26-year-old young righty joined the Giants' starting rotation and went 11-3 with a 3.03 ERA across 26 contests(26 starts) covering 148.1 frames, striking out 158 batters in 2021. Webb started the Giants' opening game of the 2022 season and finished the season with 15-9 and a 2.90, striking out 163 through 32 starts(192.1 innings). He led the Giants in wins and was ranked fifth in wins in the National League. The right-hander became the first Giants' pitcher to earn 15 wins in a season since Madison Bumgarner(15) and Johnny Cueto(18) in 2016.

Webb has marked a 31-19 record with a 3.48 ERA in 80 games(77 starts) at the end of the 2022 season for his four big league seasons.
