Story:
Today's player's resume concerns the Milwaukee Brewers starter, Freddy Peralta. Peralta is a Dominican player and will commit to Team Dominican Republic in the 2023 World Baseball Classic.

The KAISPO's baseball analyst commented,
"Peralta is a starting pitcher who can strike out well with his career K/9 of 11.69. In my opinion, his unique pitching form has a strong point in addition to the sharpness of his pitched ball. His right arm comes out a moment later than the landing to the third base side of his left foot. Batters he faces can be distracted by the time lag between his left foot and right arm as his pitched ball comes in a moment later, although they tend to react to the movement of his left foot. On the other hand, I am worried about a stretch position with runners, in which the time lag between the left foot and the right arm can be reduced a little bit. It could be why his opponent's batting average in the scoring position increases to .342, compared to .163 in base empty. Conversely, if he can fix his form with the stretch position, he will have the potential to grow into one of the best pitchers in the big league."

Freddy Peralta signed with the Seattle Mariners as an international free agent on April 18, 2013. On December 9, 2015, the Brewers acquired Peralta and Daniel Missaki from the Seattle Mariners in exchange for Adam Lind.

The right-hander was called up to Milwaukee on May 13, 2018, and started his first big league game against the Colorado Rockies at Coors Field. He struck out 13 on just one hit in 5 2/3 shutout innings in a 7-3 win. The young Dominican righty became the first pitcher to have double-digit strikeouts in his first Major League start since Matt Harvey in 2012 and the most since Stephen Strasburg's 14 in 2010. Also, he didn't give up a baserunner until Tony Wolter reached first base on a fielding error with one out in the third inning. He finished his first season with 6-4 with a 4.25 ERA and 96 strikeouts in 16 games, including 14 starts.

In 2019, the 26-year-old hopeful righty appeared in 39 contests with eight starts and 85 frames, logging 7-3 with a 5.29 ERA and, indeed, 115 strikeouts. In 2021, Peralta spent his best season in which the right-handed starter threw in 27 games, including 27 starts and one complete game, marking his career-most ten wins(5 losses) with his career-best ERA of 2.81 and striking out 195 in 144.1 innings. He was named his first All-Star that year.

At the end of the 2022 season, Peralta has been a win-loss record of 30-17 with a 3.58, a 1.13 WHIP, 539 strikeouts, and a K/9 of 11.69 in 116 appearances, covering 415 innings pitched in his big league career.
