The Chicago Cubs' right fielder, Seiya Suzuki, started the game vs. the Tampa Bay Rays at Wrigley Field on April 18. Seiya hit a single on a ground ball to the left-field but was outed at the second base in the bottom of the fourth. Also, Suzuki singled on a sharp ground ball to the right field in the bottom of the eighth. He went 2-for-3, hitting .429, and extended his hitting streak to nine games. The Cubs beat the Rays, 4-2.
