Shogo Akiyama Hit a Single and Has a Good Defense 
レッズの秋山翔吾選手が１安打に好守

The Cincinnati Reds had an exhibition game vs. the Los Angeles Dodgers on March 2 local time. The Reds outfielder, Shogo Akiyama started the game as a lead-off hitter and center fielder. 


Akiyama went 1-for-2 with a walk and improved his batting average to .286. He coolly walked in his first at-bat when the dodger’s pitcher was former Cy Young Award, David Price and hit an infield single on a ground ball to second baseman Gavin Lux, deflected by pitcher Ryan Moseley in his second at-bat. This game’s final at-bat was his third at-bat in which he sharply batted, but grounded out, third baseman Justin Turner.


About defense, the 31-year-old well handled all opportunities to play. Especially Enrique Hernandez of Los Angeles hit a single to center fielder Akiyama and Hernandez outed at second by throwing quickly from Akiyama to second baseman Derek Dietrich.

レッズの秋山翔吾選手が、現地時間、3月２日、ドジャースとのエキシビジョンマッチに１番センターで先発出場した。

秋山選手は、打撃の方は２打数１安打１四球で打率を.２８６に上げた。第１打席では、今季レッドソックスからドジャースに移籍した元サイ・ヤング賞左腕のデビッド・プライス投手だったが、冷静に四球で出塁した。第２打席は、ライアン・モーズリー投手を強襲する内野安打。第３打席は三塁ゴロだったが、当たりは良かった。



守備では全ての守備機会を無難にこなした。特に３回にドジャースのエンリケ・ヘルナンデス選手がセンター前ヒットで２塁を狙ったが、秋山選手がセカンドのデレク・ディートリック選手に好返球し、アウトにした。
