The 2023 WBC Star player’s movie resume Vol.22: Jose Quintana (Free agent from the Cardinals):Major Candidate for Team Colombia:“No.1 home run avoider”

Today's player's movie resume is about a free agent from the St.Louis Cardinals, Jose Quintana. Quintana will be a possible pitcher for Team Colombia in the 2023 World Baseball Classic.

Jose Quintana contracted with the New York Mets to start his professional career in 2006 and signed with the Chicago White Sox as a minor league free agent in the 2011 off-season.

Quintana made his major league debut in 2012.

Quintana tossed 200+ innings for four consecutive seasons from 2013 to 2016 for the White Sox and was named the American League All-Star in 2016.

He had 13-11 with 4.03 in his 32 starts for the Chicago Cubs in 2018.

The 33-year-old lefty has gone 89-87 with 3.17 in 315 contests for six clubs.
